First work meeting of Erasmus+ Project „Think fast, Think slow, decide well, be strong”

On September 7^th the first work meeting of Erasmus+ Project „Think fast, Think slow, decide well, be strong” took place.

We watched a movie about Spain culture, and we spoke about the ideas for the activities to do. We were going through the application of the project to understand better what we are going to do before and during the exchange. We had also an explanation about what is Youth pass and the different parts of the certificate. After a while, Martins and Florian were given information about the trip and about the insurances.

Then we started working by groups on the preparation of the activities. For example, Toms and Ritvars were working on the excursion to the mountains, looking for information in internet. Jānis and Kristaps were thinking about the activity “getting to know each other”. And Martins and Daniels were planning the meeting with relevant people who can say interesting things about decision making. Edvards and Emnanuels were speaking about the intercultural evening and what songs we could play there.

We did also a memory game where you have to decide what pieces to choose, remembering where are the two that are identical. We were reflecting about what strategy we used to make this choice … (see the video).

After a while we went to do sports, because the weather was nice and we needed to move… and to train to beat Spaniards and Lithuanians in Madrid!!

After sport we watched a DVD with an Erik Clapton’s concert in big screen, VERY GOOD!!

We have still a lot to do, but it was good for a start!!
